The main use case of such an MCC will be for larger test bench facilities such as the P5 at DLR Lampoldshausen and PF50 at Vernon (hundreds of simultaneous measurements within a large frequency spectrum) but shall be highly adaptable to other similar benches. The activity shall identify innovative technologies, architectural concepts, to support the following objectives:Improve Operational efficiency, maintainability, scalability and performance;SupportStandardization;Ensure energy efficiency for Sustainability purposesReduce Recurring Costs.Subsequently, the study aims to formulate a comprehensive concept for the future MCC, including preliminary system requirements, architectural definition, innovativefeatures, and an assessment of existing and emerging solutions and suppliers ideally from ESA Member States. Thus, the study shall assess the availability and maturity of the required technologies within the European ecosystem, identify potential capability gaps,and recommend developments needed to strengthen European technological autonomy, resilience, and sovereignty in this strategic domain.
